Samsung Launches New Galaxy Tab to Beat iPad

Samsung Electronics has finally announced a new version of its Galaxy Tab on July 21th 2011, in Seoul. The firm speculates that it is the right tempo to introduce its product to the market due to the competition with Apple’s iPad.
Recognized as high-end apparatus, the tab supported by Android’s Honeycomb 3.1 developed for tablet PCs, features a 10.1-inch (25.6 cm) touchscreen display monitor, different from the previous version.

Having 8.6 millimetres of measurement, Samsung admits New Galaxy Tab is the world’s thinnest tablet today. The  prior seven-inch tab was also optimized for portability, while the Galaxy Tab 10.1 is suitable for multimedia and web browsing.
As one of world’s biggest cellular phone vendor, Samsung will also launch an advanced version of its Galaxy smartphone in the US market, which is dominated by Apple’s iPhone, in August.
In contrast, Apple claims Samsung’s accusing of the copyrights because of imitating smartphones and tablet computers, although, Samsung stays in its demeanor of Apple’s evidences of breaking the patents.
The allies of US company try to ask the US International Trade Commission to stop imports to the United States of some of the Samsung’s products.
In fact, during these days Samsung has already distributed its Galaxy Tab 10.1 in five overseas countries including the United States which approximately costs 671,000 won ($601) in domestic market.
