The Lilly Camera

Drones have been in the mainstream for a while now, and we're seeing them evolve with every new iteration. The next big thing? It might be the Lily Camera, which is an affordable drone that does everything you want in a flying adventure cam. With its waterproof, wrist-mountable tracking puck, the drone can follow you wherever you go with zero input from you required. It doesn't have the ability to avoid obstacles yet, but with most activities you'll be using it for, that shouldn't be an issue. There's also no more need to worry about situations like the one below, since it's completely waterproof:

And:

It shoots at 60fps 1080p and slo-mo at 120fps 720p, allowing for crisp visuals and even slow-mo at 1080p although only at half speed. It takes stunning 12mp stills. The price is what really sets it apart from other drones, though. Until June 15th, one of these will cost you just $499; the price will gradually increase until it's $999. The Lily Camera will ship to pre-order customers in February 2016.
