Airtel is the biggest telecom service provider in India and many other countries with over 250 millions of subscribers. Airtel enjoys such a leading position in the market due to its affordable plans, wide network coverage and high speed GPRS, EDGE, 3G and 4G networks.
To use data services on Airtel network, you first need to configure your mobile or computer with the required Airtel 3G settings or GPRS settings. These settings include the access point name,homepage, proxy and other important data required to connect you to the internet.
Here, I am giving very simple Airtel GPRS settings and Airtel 3G settings that will work in all mobiles and all states. These will work in android, iphone or windows phones.

To use GPRS on your mobile, you need the right Airtel GPRS settings. As you might know, you need to go into the internet settings on your mobile and feed the following details into it.
- Access point name (APN) :- airtelgprs.com
- Homepage :- Your favourite website (Say http://techextremity.com ).
- Proxy :- Leave blank
- Port :- Leave blank

Airtel 3G settings
Airtel 3G gives very fast speed and internet surfing and downloading really becomes pleasurable when you are on Airtel 3G, instead of a always-down broadband connection. So, below are the Airtel 3G settings that you can use to use 3G on your mobile.
- Access point names (APN) :- airtelgprs.com
- Port :- 80
- Proxy :- Not needed
- Homepage :- http://google.com

Its advised that you download the auto settings installers to easily and quickly install Airtel 3G and GPRS settings to your mobile.
So, apply these settings or download and run the auto configuration files to set your mobile to use Airtel GPRS and 3G data services. These settings can be used on any mobile or tablet like Samsung, Micromax, Nokia, Motorola , Karbonn, xolo etc.
