Motorola Xoom WiFi
Display. Motorola Xoom WiFi was introduced for the first time on January 2011. Back on that time, this tablet was manage to lead the market with it’s innovative technology. But as time goes by, it is now look little bit out dated. Especially when you compare it with state of the art Retina Display, which is currently offered by Apple’s New iPad. In terms of brightness level, this tablet is way beyond it’s fellow Android device like Galaxy Tab and Galaxy Note. However, the tablet is manage to run Android 4.0 ICS very well. Transition between screens are displayed smoothly. Fonts look crispier and sharper. Thanks to new UI, we feel like holding on a new tablet PC.
Speed. Motorola Xoom WiFi specs is include dual-core processors, which is currently manage to swallow all Ice Cream Sandwich code with ease. So far, we are quite satisfied with the performance. There’s no noticeable lag or massive pause delay. As promised by Google, the new OS is packed with better multi tasking performance. Not to mention that all apps are launched quickly.
Battery Life. This is could be the main attraction from Motorola Xoom WiFi. This tablet is manage to survive for up to 14 days on standby mode, while on moderate use, it will manage to provide you with long-lasting seven days of lifetime! Crazy isn’t it? If you’re a great fan of power, then you should grab this tablet immediately. Combine it with the massive battery pack from Motorola Droid RAZR Maxx and you’ll have a complete package of tablet-smartphone monsters!
Camera. This tablet feature 5.0 megapixels rear shutter that can be utilized to capture 720p HD video. We manage to produce some good footage with this camera, but some details are instantly lost when you zoom in the camera. It tends to blur. But we think that it’s good enough for daily use. Thanks to Ice Cream Sandwich, you are now able to take picture and video on landscape mode. In addition, the zero shutter lag feature will guarantee that you won’t miss a single candid moment.
Design. Packed with aluminum chassis, Xoom WiFi is a great device that offer for complete protection against light level of abuse. Not to mention that it also weighs at 708 grams only, making it easy to carry on nearly anywhere you go.
Overall, we are happy with Android ICS update for Motorola Xoom WiFi. It makes the tablet runs better and smoother. Plus, they also include some new features and performance improvement. Android 4.0 has recently invade tablet these days. Last time we check, Acer Iconia Tab A200 has already receive it’s own ICS update. We hope that other device will follow soon.
